How is the interest on my Fixed Deposit calculated?

Estimated Interest is the interest you will earn upon full maturity of your Fixed Deposit. The interest is calculated based on the interest rate upon placement and is calculated at the end of each day.

Estimated Interest Upon Maturity = (Placement sum * X%) * (Placement days / Number of days in a year)

Where X is the current prevailing interest rate based on your selection when placing a Fixed Deposit.

For the credited interest to be displayed in your account, it must reach a minimum of S$0.01 when rounded to the nearest two decimal places.
